Where Credit Is Due

There's a lot of unspoken rules when it comes to running a site here on neocities. But one of the most important?

No stealing.

It's a known phenomenon for people to come on here, grab all the code someone else worked real hard to put together, and slap it on their site, taking the credit.

There's no REAL way to stop someone from swiping your code. It's literally built into some browsers, like Chrome, to press a button that let's you see all the little bits and bobs that your favorite webmaster assembled themselves to make the webpage you see before you.

Some might even call it plagiarism.

But there's a loophole with that...

If you just come out and SAY that you stole from people, then nobody can get mad at you!

You're not hiding how much of a lazy prick you are, so what can they do?!

...So anyways, here's a bunch of code I've stolen.

Change On Hover

You might've noticed some images on this site change when you hover over them with your mouse!

I swiped this bit from sugarforbrains.

It's also meant to play a sound, techincally, but whenever I try to remove that bit the code breaks. It works fine as is, so who cares?

The Squares Three

This little section on my homescreen used to be so busted.

I haven't made it a secret as to how I got this working, but the only other place I've talked about this was the changelog, so I might as well mention it again here.

I paid these guys to fix it for me.

Ashamed? A little. Regretful? Not really. Screw coding. Code THESE!

You couldn't see it, but I was grabbing my balls there when I said that.

More to be added...

Once I remember any.
